Dear Thorncliffe Families,
We are off to a great start to the 2026–2027 school year! It has been wonderful welcoming our students back and seeing the energy and excitement throughout the school.
Over the past few days, students and teachers have been getting to know one another, learning routines, and building relationships and community. We are so proud of the positive start and look forward to all that this year will bring!
A big thank you to School Council and all our volunteers for organizing a wonderful Welcome Back Breakfast. We appreciate all the time and effort that went into making the morning so special!
At Thorncliffe, we are committed to a safe, caring, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Our Student Code of Conduct outlines expectations for behaviour, relationships, and responsibility.
We follow the CBE Progressive Student Discipline Policy, which focuses on teaching and supporting students while holding them accountable for their choices. Our goal is to help students understand the impact of their actions, repair harm, and develop positive decision-making skills.
We encourage families to review the Student Code of Conduct with their children and talk about what it means to be a respectful, responsible, and caring member of our Thorncliffe community.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We are looking forward to a fantastic year together!
Warm regards,
Calleigh & Mary
