First Day of Classes
Welcome Back Thorncliffe Students!
The school office is open to parents on Wednesday, August 26 from 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
Teachers will call or email families to introduce themselves and provide logistics for the first day of school. If you do not receive a phone call or email by 1:00 PM on August 28, please call the office.

Monday to Thursday - Dismissal 3:43 PM

Kindergarten A.M.
Monday to Thursday - Entry 9:15 AM - 12:05
AM Kindergarten students will only be attending specific Fridays:
Sept 18, Oct 9 and 23, Nov 6, Dec 4 and 18, Jan 15, Feb 5, March 5, April 2 and 16, May 7 and 28, June 25

Lunch Supervision
The Calgary Board of Education provides students with the option to stay at school for lunch. Lunch Supervision is offered to all students in Grades 1- 6. Please visit our Lunch Supervision page for information.

MyCBE provides parents, students and staff access to academic information and learning activities.
Fees & Waivers
Fees will be charged to your MyCBE account beginning in October.
Transportation
Yellow School Bus Transportation
Students who live outside the walk zone can register for yellow school bus transportation online using your MyCBE account.
Parking
Students can be dropped off and picked up on all sides of the school. Please note that a large part of the front of the school is a designated bus zone. There is no student pick up or drop off from the bus zone.

School Supplies
Students supplies are provided by the school for children in kindergarten through Grade 6. Families are to provide indoor shoes, backpacks, lunch, and snacks. You may also choose to send your child with a water bottle. Parents can make payments through MyCBE.
