Dear Thorncliffe Families,
Today is the last day of school, and what an exciting week it has been! Students enjoyed beach and camping days, the Grade 6 Farewell, our Pep Rally, and Activity Day. Staff and students enjoyed celebrating the hard work and accomplishments of this school year.
Report cards are available online via your MyCBE account. If you have trouble accessing your child's report card, please contact the school office or your child's teacher. The school office will remain open until Tuesday, June 30, at 1:00 p.m. If you need anything before then, please feel free to call or email the school.
As we look ahead to the 2026–2027 school year, we are excited to welcome several new staff members to the Thorncliffe School community:

We would also like to congratulate and thank four members of our teaching staff as they begin new chapters in their careers. While they will be greatly missed, we wish them every success and happiness in their new roles

- Paige Bodio has accepted a position at Belfast School
- Leenika Arora has accepted a position at Mount View School
- Angel Guerra has accepted a position at Vallyview School
Finally, we would like to congratulate Laura Maetche and Christine Wadham on their well-deserved retirements. Laura and Christine have been lunchroom supervisors at Thorncliffe School for many years and have had the privilege of watching countless students grow over the years. Their kindness, care, and dedication have made a lasting impact on our school community. They will be greatly missed, and we wish them all the very best as they begin this exciting new chapter.
The school office will reopen on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Teachers will send welcome emails to families on Friday, August 28, with your child's class placement. The first day of school for students is Monday, August 31, 2026.
