Dear parents and guardian of Thorncliffe School,
We successfully completed our second required lockdown practice drill of the school year on Tuesday. Our students performed admirably and drew praise from the members of the Calgary Police Service who joined us for the practice. We are thankful to CPS as community partners for their time and support.
Of course, such activities can be upsetting to students in ways we cannot predict; if your child has questions about the lockdown practice or needs to discuss it, please encourage them to come by and speak with one of us in the Main Office.
Tuesday’s practice began at approximately 1:00pm and took 15 minutes to complete.

Student Safety
This a friendly reminder that riding bikes, scooters, skateboards, or Heelys is not permitted on school property. We have noticed a few students and family members riding bikes and scooters on the compound in the morning. We ask that students and family members please dismount their bikes and scooters before going on school property.
