Dear Thorncliffe Families, 

This past week we had the pleasure of hosting Knowledge Keeper Pearl White Quills.  Pearl connected with students through optional smudge during soft entry, and she shared teachings with students about Pow Wow and dancing.  We are so thankful to our school council for providing this beautiful learning opportunity for our staff and students this week. 

Over the past week we had two very cold days where students were indoors for recesses.  In the morning, we had students arriving to school well before the start of soft entry.  We ensure that there is supervision and entry for students starting at 9:05 at all doors each day.  If a student arrives at school early and the doors are not open, we will welcome them into the front door.  Please remind your child that if they ever arrive at school and they need to come inside for any reason that they can come to the front entrance and we will help them.
