Dear Thorncliffe Families,
We have had an amazing first month of learning together at Thorncliffe! Some highlights of September include, the Welcome Back Breakfast, Meet the Teacher and our Book Fair, our first council meeting, a wonderful first field trip for two of our classes, school-wide reflection on a commitment to reconciliation.
A key piece of our learning in September was a personal reflection using the holistic lifelong learning framework for each staff and student at Thorncliffe. This work is displayed throughout the school and highlights the connections between each of us in Spirit, Heart, Body and Mind. Our next step as a learning community is to consider what those connections are and how they shape our collective identity.
Warmly,
Calleigh and Nadine
