Dear Thorncliffe Families,
We would like to highlight safety this week! As students are coming to school or heading home at the end of the day, please use crosswalks and ensure that there are no children crossing through the staff parking lot.
On November 4th, Calgary Police Service will be conducting a lock down drill with staff and students. This drill is intended to teach staff and students how to remain safe in the event of an intruder into the building. During the drill, students know that it is a practice and that they are not in any danger. It is very important that children take the drill seriously and listen carefully to the adult in the room supervising them. If you have any questions or concerns about this drill, please call the school or email ceharder@cbe.ab.ca
Our lost and found is starting to fill up – a reel was posted on our school instagram @thorncliffe_cbe showing the items. Please feel free to stop by the school to have a look for lost items.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Warmly,
Calleigh and Nadine
