Dear Thorncliffe Families,
We are looking forward to welcoming our families to join us for online school conferences on March 20th and 21st. Bookings for all conferences except Ms. Bodio will be available starting March 14th at 5:00pm. Ms. Bodio will have conferences starting Friday, March 14th as well as the 20th and 21st, and her bookings will be open on Monday, March 10th. School conferences are a good opportunity to discuss your child’s learning since the January report cards and to discuss learning and goals for the last part of the school year. We encourage all families to book a conference! If you have any questions or need support with booking, please contact the main office.
Last week, students loved the opportunity to participate in Alien In-Line Skating. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our School Council for providing this amazing learning experience for our students.

February Kindness Month Initiative
February is the month of kindness. Let’s come together as a school community and make a difference to some of our families in need!
Every contribution can help our families experiencing hardships access food to feed their families. Make a donation below, which we will use to purchase grocery gift cards to provide to our families when emergencies arise. We will collect gifts until March 21, 2025.

Kindergarten and Alternative Program Registration
On January 13th, 2025-2026 school year registration began for community and alternative programs. Please review the information at https://cbe.ab.ca/news-centre/Pages/Get-Ready-Get-Set-Kindergarten.aspx to learn about the process for registration. As always, feel free to contact the main office with any questions you still have about registration. Kindergarten registration is ongoing. Alternative Programs in lottery have completed the lottery process and will be notifying families that submitted an expression of interest in the coming days. Please note that registration is ongoing but new registrations will be placed at the end of the call-back list for programs in lottery.
