Dear Thorncliffe Families,

On Thursday, June 26 Thorncliffe School will be having activity day from 9:15am-1:10pm!  All students will be dismissed for the summer at 1:10pm.  This is the last day of school for students. Activity Day is a morning of outdoor fun activities where students can choose different tasks to participate in. Some previous activities include cornhole, bubbles, chalk, obstacle course, gaga ball, gymnastics climber, pickle ball, frisbee golf ….

We are looking for volunteers to support us in running stations and helping with the pizza lunch. If you have current volunteer clearance, are available, and would like to volunteer please sign up here

All students in Kindergarten- Grade 6 will be provided 1-2 slices of pizza, depending on their Grade level and appetite. Students will be asked to select their flavour preference in the classroom (cheese, ham & pineapple, halal pepperoni or a dietary option which is gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian). Thank you to School Council for organizing and paying for this fun lunch. If your child is not able to eat pizza, please ensure you pack a lunch for them to eat that day.

We are noticing students bringing gum and lollipops to school.  We discourage students from bringing these treats as they are not safe to eat while moving and playing.

We hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weather!

Sincerely,

Calleigh Harder, Principal

Nadine Duque, Assistant Principal
