Dear Thorncliffe Families,
Tomorrow, you can log into your MyCBE account and look at your child’s report card! If you have any difficulties accessing this important information, please reach out to the school or your child’s teacher so we can support you. Please see below for a link to a support document.
At Thorncliffe School, we have many children with severe and life-threatening allergies. This is why we request that food items not be sent to school to be shared with others. We know that children love to celebrate their birthday and other special occasions, but we ask that these important dates are recognized in other ways. Thank you!
February is Kindness Month! We have started a campaign with Education Matters to raise funds that we will put towards gift cards to support families with emergent need. Further details are below!
This week is family literacy week! The Calgary Public Library recognizes this week with a special Family Reading Pick. This year they have chosen The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. Starting January 27th, all locations will have copies of the Wild Robot along with an activity booklet that families can pick up. Family Reading Pick for 2025
Wishing everyone a wonderful rest of your weekend!
Warm Regards,
Calleigh and Nadine

February Kindness Month Initiative
February is the month of kindness. Let’s come together as a school community and make a difference to some of our families in need!
Every contribution can help our families experiencing hardships access food to feed their families. Make a donation below, which we will use to purchase grocery gift cards to provide to our families when emergencies arise. We will collect gifts until March 21, 2025.
